VICTORIA FALLS TRAVEL GUIDE

Spectacular all year round this natural wonder of the world does change throughout the year. Wet season allows you to see the falls in full flow however the dry season does allow viewing without the obstruction of spray.

January to April is the transition from low to high water so you can see the falls with some of the iconic spray
May to June is wet season with 500 million litres of water powering down from the Zambezi so prepare to get drenched. At this time of year the best viewing is from the sky but you also get to see the spray from over 50 km away and hear the full thundering sound.
July to October is the most popular time to visit as the spray reduces to give fantastic views and excellent photographic opportunities.
December to January temperatures soar and water levels are at the lowest so is not the best time to view but does allow you to visit the Devils pool on the Zambian side and get right up to the edge.
